Pedrosa snatched his first victory for the season.
Dani Pedrosa has achieved his first victory since he broke his collarbone last season at Motegi. Pedrosa, who is in 2nd in championship standings, won his last race at Misano 2010. His journey as the contender for the 2010 MotoGP Championship title stopped after the incident at Motegi during the FP session. Even though Pedrosa was in doubt to race at Estoril, he actually made it to the race and won it. I was really impressive of his performance and hope to see the same performance from him in the next race. Pedrosa was always below 0.10 secs behind Lorenzo, and made a pass in the final
8 laps. Impressive!
Stoner smiled because he made it to the finish line without Rossi crash on him
Lorenzo also had shown a very good performance during the race. He had worked really hard to pull away from his fellow countryman, Pedrosa. Casey Stoner, who is still searching for his first win at Estoril, wasn't a big dissapointment. He had done his best to stay with the leading group, but they were just too fast. But at least I think Stoner was feeling relieved after the race because The Doctor wasn't there to crash him like in Jerez. hahah! Rossi is still in search for his 1st podium of the season and as a Ducati rider. For me, the biggest disappointment of the race goes to Ben Spies. What was he doing! He had a good starting position, but he went down to the back of the group, then crashed. Shame!! But it' ok. He didn't make a start last season at the track, so maybe he didn't know the track very well. Ok, enough with the chatters, here some pics and the result for yesterday's race. Don't forget to share this post. Thanks! :)
Rossi can't hold Dovizioso (Repsol) for too long
The biggest disappointment for yesterday's race. So far, he was even better at Tech 3 though
The winner at Estoril for 3 years in a row was defeated by his fellow countryman, Pedrosa
Pedrosa won by 3 secs in front of Lorenzo
